Build and Buy Black was created by Ivan and Stephanie Davis after struggling to find Black-owned businesses while traveling, and in their own city of Atlanta, where black-owned businesses are plentiful, but there wasn’t a way to sort through them all. Many amazing Black-owned businesses lacked online visibility, making it hard for consumers to discover and support them.

This platform changes that.

Build and Buy Black is a national directory designed to connect consumers with Black-owned businesses, both locally and on the go. By shifting just 10% of our $1.8 trillion annual spending to Black entrepreneurs, we can drive over $180 billion back into our communities.

This is more than a directory. It’s a strategic tool designed to help shift the flow of capital back into Black communities.
